CommentsThis is a Wonderful Website! I Loved watching High Chaparral! I have always been a fan of westerns, and in between watching Roy Rogers, or The Lone Ranger,Not to mention Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Rawhide, Wagon Train, etc. I always included The High Chaparral in my list of shows to watch! I have also been a Zorro fan too, so I was really glad that Mr. Darrow got to star in the New World Zorro show as Don Diego's father. Unfortunately I never got to see Zorro and Son! Don't know how I missed that! :-( I did however see a few episodes of the animated Zorro, but I didn't know that Mr. Darrow was the "voice" for Zorro. How neat! The pictures on this site are fantastic, and the research you did on this really talented and versatile actor, was outstanding! Thank you so much for all your work and efforts, in making this wonderful site! I watched quite a few of those shows Mr. Darrow was in: Magnum PI, Time Trax, Hawaii Five O, Quincy, Harry O, McMillan and Wife, etc. I'm sure I saw Henry Darrow in some of those episodes, but it was such a long time ago, that I didn't remember seeing him. Thanks for bringing back all those memories of those shows! I know Mr. Darrow appreciates all your time and efforts in putting this site together, and so do I! I'm glad I found this site! I hope other people find it too! Thank you again for making this site! Sincerely, Nancy J. Smith
CommentsLoved you in High Chapparal many years ago! Hope to be able to catch them on DVD or on cable soon!
CommentsHi I'm a big fan of Henry Darrow and I've e-mailed him a couple of times but never got a reply back. I don't know if he's getting my e-mails. Do I have to be a member to e-mail him? Thankyou.

CommentsGOOD , THE SITE IS NICE AND BEAUTIFUL. OMO I DON WAKA HERE, NO SHAKING.
CommentsWhat an absolutely first class website! Indeed a fitting tribute to the professionalism of Henry. I grew up watching High Chapperal (in New Zealand)and fondly remember being permitted to extend bedtime curfew just so I could watch it with the rest of the family. I would like to congratulate Henry for his superb performances over the years and I also wish to thank him for the pleasure he has given to us all. It is fabulous that you have shared with us, some of your photos over the years and a wee peak at Henry today, with his beautiful wife ( luv that smile). Tee hee, after all these years I still carry a torch for Manolito and the flame is still hot! Kindest Regards and Best Wishes (thank you for the fond memories)
CommentsI have been a fan of Henry Darrow's for years. The High Chaparral is still my favorite western series and I watch it every Saturday on the Hallmark channel. I also enjoyed his appearances of Star Trek TNG, and Deep Space Nine. I hope to see much more Mr. Darrow in the years to come.
CommentsJust saw you in Runaway Jury. NOBODY but me recognized you as someone from long ago. But, with GOOGLE anything is possible. I was able to say Zorro and Bonanza and then from your website it was even more clear...HIGH CHAPPARAL!! Your ablilities were burned into my memory since the 60's! GREAT WORK!!!
CommentsThis is WONDERFUL!!!!! I fell in love with Henry Darrow 32 years ago and have had only marginal success keeping track of him over the years. This site provides me the opportunity to play "catch up". Thank everyone who made this possible.

CommentsI have been a Henry Darrow fan since The High Chapparal Show was on television. I come in to his page once in awhile to see if any new things are added. Keep up the good work.
CommentsMy sister and I are Henry Darrow fans from Manolito days. we were thrilled to meet him, get pictures autographed and shake his hand when he directed "Tecumseh" in Chillicothe, Ohio a few years ago. We told him "We've loved you forever!"
CommentsAdmiro lo gran actor que es henry.
CommentsI'm so glad to find your site. I could run on for pages about my history and how Henry/Manolo affected it but I won't. Partly because I don't have the time, partly because I'm writing this at the public library and partly because it's a very emotional issue that I don't really want to write about in a semi-public forum. I'll be back in the not-too distant future. Anne
CommentsTO WEBMASTER; I'd like to 'snail mail' Senor Darrow but I don't have a Microsoft Passport account so I can't do it. Could you help me with this? Thanks Anne
Commentsthought you were great in all roles you've ever played

CommentsHi Henry, Having grown in Puerto Rico and having an older brother that always talked about "Manolito" I knew you since I was a child but couldn't put a face with your name. Now I realize I've seen you in many shows without knowing who you were, and recognize what a great actor you are. Best regards from a fellow Boricua, Arturo Austin, Tx
CommentsHey henry how have you been i havent seen you in almost four years anyway it was a pleasure working with you and raul espinosa on that certain cervantes project email me if you can thank you for your time and cooperation.
CommentsMy younger Brother James and I, just watched an episode of "The Incredible Hulk". Mr. Darrow played the heavy, indeed, a great bad-guy. I recalled how as a young boy of five or six, Manolito and "The High Chaparral" were a positive influence for Latinos', both young and old. Understand, at the time, Latinos' on Televison were VERY rare, and almost always stereotypical. Manolito was probably the first T.V. character that "looked" like "me". Undoubtedly, the show brought a sense of pride and identity, to many. Mr. Darrow, whether you realize it or not, you are a true T.V. PIONEER! May God Bless You and Yours, ALWAYS. Keep up the great website!
CommentsI grew up watching the HIGH CHAPARRAL as a young boy. I loved both the show. I would be intetrested in getting it on DVD. They just don't make could quality TV programs like they used to. I am having a Manalito holster rig made. Then I will be able to shoot from the holster with only the flip of a wrist too ! :-) Thanks HENRY, you made growing up in the 60's and 70's GREAT. A wonderful website. Rick - Oklahoma
CommentsHenry Darrow was the reason I watched The High Chapparal but my favourite and most moving moment was Manny Quinlan's murder in Harry O. Henry (as Manny),bleeding and getting a young boy to post a letter so that his friend will solve his murder.

CommentsI loved the High Chaparral and thought it was one of the BEST westerns ever! I wish some other channels like TVLand would feature it as I don't get the Hallmark channel! This series was about REAL people and I was said when it went off! Mano was my favorite==that infectious grin, the laugh, it made my day!
CommentsSaludos y Feliz Año Nuevo para ustedes y a Kat por el tremendo Web.(Kat a great Web ifo) Esperamos poder verles de nuevo en tu proxima visita a Tití Gloria. Ernesto y Solange
CommentsLove this website for Henry Darrow! His performance on HC will never be forgotten. I only hope HC will come out on dvd, and I will be the first to buy it! HC was one of the BEST westerns ever produced and I was sad when it was taken off! Henry's charm and ultra suave way will live on forever and made the "old west" charming and he also made me laugh!
CommentsI never missed an episode and thoroughly enjoyed watching whilst riding my imaginery horse on the back of the sofa. I have told my children Amorette and Rupert all about the series and wish that we could see it here in England. I was so delighted to view the website and it brought back happy memories thank you and god bless.
CommentsSuch a treat to come across Mr. Darrow's site! It is greatly appreciated--Manolito is and was one of my all-time favorite hombres. I am enjoying the episodes of The High Chapparal being run now on Hallmark channel. Just want to say thank you to Henry for the many, many hours of genuine enjoyment you have brought me and I'm a longtime fan!!!!

CommentsOLA MANOLITO! HOW ARE YOU? WE ARE ENJOYING WATCHING HIGH CHAPARRAL HERE IN ITALY RIGHT NOW! I WAS ABLE TO BUY SOME TAPES OF IT FROM A LADY IN THE USA. IT IS MUCH BETTER TO WATCH IT IN AMERICAN...!! DO YOU KNOW, WILL HC BE PUT ON DVD OR TAPES NEXT? I STILL RECALL WITH GREAT PLEASURE WHEN I MET YOU AT THE TUCSON STUDIOS WHILE WE LIVED IN TUCSON (1997-2001)WHEN YOU SIGNED THE POSTER. IT HANGS AT OUR WALL IN THE APPARTMENT. WATCHING HC AGAIN REMINDS US OF OUR TIME LIVING IN THE SONORAN DESERT. WE MISS IT. ADDIOS + CIAO E BUONA GIORNATA MONIKA
CommentsJust a minor addition to the list of 70's guest roles... Henry did two "Bearcats!" episodes...you list the second one: "The Return of Estaban"...but he also starred as Estaban the Mexican pilot in the episode: "Ground Loop at Spanish Wells" broadcast 9-23-71. He was great in both...and was the only double guest star in the unfortunatly brief history of "Bearcats!"
CommentsI THINK IT IS VERY GOOD
CommentsHope to see you both in PR. Salud y pesetas.
CommentsHi. Loved the site!
CommentsI truly enjoy watching Henry Darrow in High Chaparral as well as some of the other actors in this show and wished they showed reruns more than once a month. I enjoyed Bonanza but enjoy High Chaparral even more. Thank you.
CommentsI enjoyed Mano in the series. He is one of my favorites. The web site was done very well. Please put more pictures of Henry.
CommentsHenry is such a recognizable face and it's good to see that he is still in the business and doing well. God bless him for entertaining us all these years; he's a delight.

CommentsNice site for Nice people, keep it up.
CommentsWhat a fantastic web site! It has brought back very nice memories. I used to love watching The High Chaparral when I was little.
CommentsIt's been a while since I last visited this site, but it is great to see it again. Kat, this is still a beautiful tribute to Mr. Darrow. You have done a wonderful job maintaining the site over the years. There are so many great photographs and NEW information to see and read about. Thanks, from an old HCDG friend, for a terrific place to come and "visit" with my man!
CommentsNice site. Cool Guestbook. Good luck !!!
CommentsI am such a big fan! I have been a fan since "High Chaparral". No better actor could have portrayed "Mano" the way you did! Great casting and fabulous acting!! If I knew you were going to appear in something-I was sure to watch. I hope that your career has brought you great joy, because that is what you have given to your countless fans! I hope you are happy and well!!
CommentsWhat a great web site! I just want to add my thanks to you for providing fans with a place to find photos and memoribilia of Henry's work and photo galleries. I recently watched an episode of "American Family" the PBS show which cronicles a Mexican American family. Henry appeared on one of the episodes called "The Revolution" playing an uncle of Jesse Gonzales played by Edward James Olmos. I had not seen anything of Henry Darrow and only remembered his character Manolito in High Chapparel. When the man appeared through out the movie, I knew it was him! I was so excited that I pointed and said "that man is Manolito!" My son, said "who the heck is Manolito?" I told him, that man is the reason I am a fan of westerns and why I love the character Zorro. After watching this episode I had to buy the DVD collection of all the stories. My favorite is the one with Henry. That wonderful smile and sparkle of the eyes caught me again. I knew him immediately as Manolito, my favorite character. Thanks again for your support and maintenance of this site. I too provide support for some websites and I can understand the love and care you provide for the ones that come from the heart.
CommentsWanted to learn more about Henry as my family met him in San Juan PR.
CommentsThank you for this web sits. I hope that many people will see this and add to the list on signers that want the HIGH CHAPARRAL ON DVD.
CommentsI hadn't thought about Manolito Montoya in a million years it seems. I still have the tiny piece of dusty rope he gave me in Old Tucson when I vacationed as a 17 year old schoolgirl with my parents. I will remember until the day I die that he reached out and pulled up my long red hair and said, "you have beautiful hair senorita". I thought my straightlaced Mom would have a collapse. LOL What a memory.
CommentsThanks for the site...please keep it up!
CommentsI used to e-mail Kathy Garcia through her e-mail address, so I knew about this website when it was started. Unfortunately, I lost touch with her but wanted to mention, that I love the website however, when I click on the options to send letters to Henry by snail mail or e-mail, it won't let me because it says something is improperly installed. I'm not sure if this is my computer or not. Keep up the great job, I really enjoy this site and have signed the petition to get HC released.
CommentsHenry, God Bless You. Loved your work through the years, most of all "Manolito". Wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing your acting gift with the world.
CommentsI did not grow up watching your programs first run, but i have seen them in reruns, and they are great!!! thanks for making them so the next generations can enjoy them as well
CommentsI met Mr Darrow Here in N.C recently and he was such a nice person. I didnt know his name at first but boy did I recognize his face. He played roles in all my favorite tv series of the 70's and 80's and was gracious enough to give me his autograph.
CommentsThis afternoon I signed several petitions to get the series released on DVD. Though I've been named after Manolito Montoya, I only have seen a few bits and pieces of the series when I was a young boy. Now that I'm older I'd love to see the complete series for once, just to see why my parents were so font of Manolito. I even do have the same smile as him!! (So dad, where were you in 1971?)
CommentsI will visit this site frequently. Hope there will be more and more resources provided.
CommentsSearched and Surfed your page great work
CommentsLove this web, I'll be back soon to check it again, Joshua Odin
